Soufiane Hennani (he/him) is a doctor in Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy – Hassan II University, Casablanca. He is also an activist for gender justice and bodily and sexual freedoms in Morocco. His particular focus is on issues related to masculinities. In 2020, Soufiane created the podcast MACHI ROJOLA, aiming to rethink and promote positive masculinities in Morocco.

Soufiane Hennani is recognized for his contributions in various social change and advocacy initiatives. In 2019, he became a laureate of the Arab Foundation for Freedom and Equality’s social change program. Since 2016, he has been actively volunteering with the AIDS association. Additionally, from 2018 to 2019, he served as the ex-vice-coordinator of the youth advisory committee at Amnesty International Morocco. Furthermore, he played a role in the realization of the INTERSECTIONS platform between 2017 and 2019. This platform was dedicated to denouncing liberticidal laws in the Moroccan penal code and was produced by the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
